Software License and Service Agreement

This agreement is between you and 杭州同鸣科技有限公司 (Hangzhou Tongming Technology Co., Ltd., "we" or "us") and applies to your use of Tuji, our macOS application.
Please read this agreement before using or purchasing Tuji, particularly the provisions on purchase benefits, device limits, refunds, and liability. Contact us if you have questions. If you do not agree, please do not use or purchase Tuji.
1. License and Pro Benefits
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Tuji. Tuji is free to use with limits on certain features or usage amounts, as described in the application and on our website.
Pro is a one-time purchase with no subscription. It includes all future major releases and new features of Tuji at no additional charge.
- The direct-download edition is activated with a license purchased from our website. Each license may be activated on up to 3 Macs.
- The App Store edition is upgraded through an in-app purchase and is subject to the applicable App Store usage rules.
- Purchases from our website and the App Store are not currently interchangeable. Please confirm which edition you need before purchasing.
2. Purchases and Refunds
The price is the amount displayed on the purchase page when you place your order.
For purchases from our website, contact us at tuji.app@tominlab.com to request a refund. For purchases through the App Store or another channel, contact that channel's provider to discuss a refund. These procedures do not affect your statutory refund or other rights, or relieve us of our legal obligations.
3. Intellectual Property and Proper Use
Intellectual property rights in the Tuji software and materials we provide belong to us or their respective rights holders. This agreement grants a license to use the software, not ownership of its intellectual property. Rights in content you import, capture, or edit remain with you or the original rights holders. Your use of Tuji does not give us any rights in that content.
Please use Tuji lawfully and respect others' intellectual property and privacy. Without authorization, you may not sell or distribute the software or licenses, bypass license protections, or reverse engineer the software. Normal installation, lawful backups, and other acts permitted by law are not restricted. Third-party components with separate license terms remain subject to those terms.
4. Software Operation and Liability
We provide Tuji and purchased features as described in our product information, but cannot guarantee that the software will always be error-free or compatible with every hardware and software environment. Please keep important files safe and verify results from features such as text recognition.
Either party that breaches this agreement or infringes another person's rights is responsible as required by applicable law. Where a loss has multiple causes, each party bears its respective responsibility under applicable law.
This agreement does not exclude or restrict your statutory rights or exempt us from liability for personal injury, property loss caused by intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Privacy
Please read our Privacy Policy for information about data handling and privacy protection.
6. Updates and Contact
We will publish updates to this agreement on this page with an updated date. Changes affecting your important rights will also be communicated through an in-app notice or another reasonable method, and we will obtain any consent required by law. Updates will not retroactively reduce Pro benefits you have already purchased.
This agreement does not replace express commitments made at the time of purchase or other valid agreements between you and us. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable without affecting the validity of the other provisions, those other provisions remain in effect.
For questions about this agreement, purchases, or use of the software, or to raise a dispute, contact us at tuji.app@tominlab.com. Disputes may first be addressed through discussion. If unresolved, either party may bring proceedings before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
